As another school year is about to start, the market is flooded with campaigns for everything a child could need for the year ahead. But, as inflation has risen in the past year and budgets decreased, many parents feel a heavier burden to fill a backpack. For those from underprivileged backgrounds, it becomes almost impossible to equip their children for school.
We are happy that we were able to provide school supplies to 90 children from underprivileged families through our Back2School CSR campaign. Thanks to the efforts of our team, each child received a new backpack with all the supplies necessary to start classes in September, including notebooks, pens, painting and drawing tools, and educational games. We would like to thank the City Halls of Floresti (Prahova County) and Lopatari (Buzau County) for providing us with a list of needed supplies. We hope that, as the children step into the first grade, they do so with a smile on their face, properly equipped to learn new things and face the challenges ahead.
Back2School - Investing in the new generations
As an innovative software company, ABIT Puresoft strongly believes that investing in education is the most important contribution we can make to our society’s future. Thousands of Romanian children drop out of school every year due to lack of financial support. Knowing that many of them have no alternative but to quit school, through our Back2School CSR campaign we aim to support education and give disadvantaged children an opportunity to stay in school, as is this the only way to escape the cycle of poverty.
Our business principles of driving positive change and making society better will always be reflected in our actions and we are grateful to have had the privilege of contributing towards that end.
