Santa Claus is in high demand this holiday season, so here at ABIT Puresoft we decided to give him a helping hand by organizing two Christmas actions to benefit those less fortunate.

With the help of Asociatia Casa Sperantei from Bucharest and the mayor of Loptari commune in Buzau, we became Santa Claus for a day by purchasing and wrapping gifts for about 50 children in need from Loptari and Bucharest. Many of the children we helped are from single-parent households with financial struggles. It is especially sobering/ heartbreaking to read a child’s letter to Santa asking for food, clothes and shoes instead of toys. We hope we were able to make a difference during the stressful holiday season.

ABIT Puresoft has also provided clothes, food items and games to the Saint Mina Rehabilitation Centre for Adults with Disabilities in Bucharest, an assisted living facility that currently houses 11 men aged 18 to 33 with mental and intellectual disabilities. Being consciencious of the lack of awareness and support for mental health issues in Romania, we wanted to provide some help to these men who have been abandoned by their families and have no means of support.

ABIT Puresoft would like to thank every team member who contributed to these Santa Claus actions. We strongly believe that Christmas is more about giving than receiving and we always seek to make a meaningful difference through our CSR efforts. We hope that 2022 will bring everyone health, peace and joy.
